Anshuman has been involved in USD 20 billion+ of project execution and USD 40 billion+ of acquisitions and monetization.
Amongst other things Anshuman has been involved in the construction of the 20 million tons Essar Oil refinery in Vadinar, which is one of India’s most advanced refineries. The refinery was acquired by Rosneft and the Trafigura-UCP consortium following a landmark $12.9 billion transaction that was also the largest FDI in India’s Energy sector. Anshuman was also instrumental in overseeing Aegis, Essar’s erstwhile BPO business, which expanded more than tenfold within a short span of time.
A strong believer in adopting a modular approach in project management, he has ensured that these assets of national importance were completed within committed timelines. Under his guidance in 3 years AGC Networks (now Black Box) acquired Black Box, a company 10 times the size.

Anshuman is also a passionate connoisseur of music and a keen table tennis player.

Currently Vikash is the Director (Strategy and M&A) of Essar Group. Prior to joining the Essar Group, Vikash was executive director and CEO of SSKI Corporate Finance Ltd, a boutique investment bank specializing in infrastructure financing and advisory work.
Vikash completed his Bachelor of Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce New Delhi and a Management Degree from Indian Institute of Management Kolkata.
